Let’s Bust This Myth!
🚫Myth: “I’m not getting noticed on LinkedIn, so the algorithm must be broken.”
🚨Truth: The algorithm isn’t broken. And it doesn’t hate you. It just doesn’t understand you.
When engagement drops, it’s easy to blame the algorithm.
But LinkedIn’s algorithm isn’t out to get you.
It’s actually doing its job, scanning for clarity, cohesion, and credible intent.
You’re not being punished.
You’re being filtered.
Within the first 90 minutes after posting, a small percentage of your audience will see your content.
That test audience decides your fate.
If your audience doesn’t:
• Pause long enough (dwell time over 4.5 seconds)
• Comment with substance (not just emojis)
• Repost or save
…your post quietly disappears.
No reach. No reposts. Just silence.
This isn’t personal.
It’s performance data.
To reach more people, train the algorithm to recognize your value:
✅ Write clearly and conversationally about your topic of choice.
✅ Spark meaningful discussion, not emoji storms.
✅ Stay consistent, post at least 2 x a week.
✅ Don’t post and ghost: engage with others before and after you post.
The algorithm isn’t broken.
It’s just waiting for you to show up with clarity, connection, and credibility.
