About Mindy F. Stern
Mindy F. Stern, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, ACC is the founder and President of AIM Resource Group Inc. She is a professional leadership and career coach, author, columnist, speaker and trusted human resource consultant whose mission is to provide the resources, tools and guidance that will enable people to be successful in business and in life. Using the tools she has acquired over twenty years working in corporate human resource roles, she empowers others to achieve their goals.
Mindy began her career as a recruiter for an employment agency. While working in the staffing industry she developed the skills necessary to train and support individuals who want to improve their lives and careers. Mindy has held the positions of Senior National Learning Manager at a global staffing company and Senior Vice President and Director of Human Resources at a New York based financial institution. In those roles she led organizational effectiveness, leadership development, performance management, employee relations, learning and development, talent acquisition, executive coaching, project management, health and welfare, compensation, change management and employee engagement programs.
Mindy has often been a featured speaker at leadership conferences, trade shows and workshops. She writes a monthly newspaper column entitled Employment Matters to educate the public about workplace issues. She motivates, inspires and encourages those who value success in their careers and their businesses. She is a trusted guide for organizations who want to comply with ever changing regulations. She provides learning resources and workshops for people who are ready to transition their careers. She provides support and guidance to her clients, helping them create a clear and confident plan to achieve their goals.
Mindy is the Director of Public Relations and member of the executive board of the International Coach Federation-Long Island chapter, as well as a member of the board of directors of SNAP (Services Now for Adult Persons), a not for profit agency that provides education and support for our senior citizens. She has a B.S. degree in Business Administration and Human Resource Management from the State University of New York. She is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from the HR Certification Institute, SHRM-SCP, Associate Certified Coach (ACC) from the International Coach Federation, Certified Staffing Professional (ASA), and Certified DISC Trainer. She is a member of Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the International Coaching Federation (ICF), the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW), the International Women’s Leadership Association and the Queens Chamber of Commerce.
